You could see the heartbreak in her eyes once she realized her magnificent ride had come to an end on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” series, hosted by Nick Cannon. However, Danielle Stallings of Matoaca, VA, with a voice like hers, at the tender age of 14-years-old, there are no need for tears because this young lady has great things ahead in her future. Danielle showed grace and power in her performances leading up to Wednesday night’s voting episode.

Judges Howard Stern, Sharon Osborne, and Howie Mandel all gave Danielle encouragement before she exited but we are all so proud of her rise to the national stage. Danielle is a student at Matoaca Middle School, and has been singing for many years, practicing her craft at local Petersburg-area venues under the watchful eye of her parents and musician Rob Gray, a mainstay in the local music scene for years. While we always know somebody’s gotta win and somebody’s gotta lose, it was bittersweet but we can all see clearly that this young lady has a bright future.

Take a look at our interview with KISS FM’s Mitch Malone and local star Danielle Stallings.
