UPDATE: Sage Stallone was found dead in his home at Studio City near Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Mulholland Drive. Sources have told reporters that Sage died from a pill overdose but the exact caused of death won’t be determined  until toxicological tests are completed.

There were no signs of foul play, suicide note or blunt force at the scene of Sage Stallone’s body, assistant coroner’s chief Ed Winter told reporters outside of the younger Stallone’s home on Friday morning. Winter said, an autopsy is expected to be performed in a few days.

Sage Moonblood Stallone, 36, the son of Sylvester Stallone has been found dead in his Hollywood apartment. George Braunstein, the attorney of the young Stallone, has confirmed the news of Sage’s death to the New York Post.

Braunstein told the news publication, “He was in good spirits, and working on all kinds of projects. He was planning on getting married. I am just devasted. He was an extremely wonderful, loving guy. This is a tradegy.” He adds, “his client’s passing is a mystery to him.”

Sources told The Post that Sage likely died from overdosing on pills. A spokesperson for the LAPD said ” there is no suspicion of foul play or criminal activity.”

Sage Stallone is the eldest of two sons Sly had with his first wife Sasha Czack. Stallone is currently promoting the “Expendables” a sequel at Comic-Con in San Diego. Stallone is grieve-strickened by the death of his son.

Sage was no stranger to acting, his debut was alongside his father in 1990’s “Rocky V” but he didn’t reprise his role as the movie boxer’s son, Robert Balboa, in the 2006 movie “Rocky Balboa.” He teamed up with his father again in 1996’s “Daylight.”

Sage Stallone is survived by his brother Seargeoh, and his three half-sisters Sophia, Sistine and Scarlet.
