BREAKING NEWS: Usher’s stepson 11-year old Kyle Glover has died from a head injury sustained during a jetski accident on July 6, 2012 at Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Georgia. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that Kyle died Saturday morning at an Atlanta area hospital. 

Kyle Glover was the son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster. Fans flooded social media to give condolences to Tameka and Usher. Stars leaving condolences were Justin Bieber, Eric Benet and Toni Braxton.

Willie A. Watkins Funeral will handle the funeral arrangements for Kyle Glover.

Atlanta police have confirmed that the investigation into Kyle’s accident is still ongoing.

UPDATE: Kyle Glover’s condition has not changed since being struck in the head by a jetski over a week ago on Georgia’s Lake Lanier. Glover was declared brain dead from the accident but his mother Tameka Foster is praying for a miracle.

According to TMZ, the ex-wife of Usher, Foster’s health insurance will only cover Kyle’s high-cost medical bills for a few more months. She will have to make the decision to remove her son from life support. No word on whether Usher will cover the cost of extended care for 11- year old Kyle Glover. Usher is very close to Kyle as he has been in the boys’ life for seven years.

Usher has been in a bitter divorce and custody battle with Foster but remains at her side during this time of tragedy. Usher has two children with Foster Usher Raymond V, 4 and Naviyd,3.

The family of Kyle Glover held a prayer vigil at the hospital in Atlanta on Wednesday. Usher still remains at Kyle’s bedside with ex-wife Tameka Foster. ABC News is reporting that an investigation is underway but law enforcement are still waiting on how to proceed in this case.

MTV reports that the family of Kyle Glover released this statement at the prayer vigil held at the hospital on Wednesday:

“We know God’s in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time. We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kyle up, as it’s the best way we can all support him.”

UPDATE: The driver of the Jetski that struck Usher’s stepson Kyle Glover in the head is family friend, 38 year old Jeffrey Hubbard. According to police no charges have been filed and alcohol didn’t play a factor in the accident over the weekend on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Georgia. Glover and a friend were airlifted to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. The 15 year old girl with Glover remains in stable condition with cuts to her head and a broken arm reports CBS Atlanta Affiliate WGCL-TV.

Two rangers with the Department of Natural Resources witnessed the accident and rescued the girl. Glover was rescued by two caring people.

Tameka Foster, Usher’s ex-wife and Kyle’s mother spoke to RadarOnline about her son’s condition on Sunday. She said “he’s bad.” RadarOnline reports that Foster updated her facebook page requesting prayers from friends and family. “Kyle, you are strong. You’ll be saved, I know it. I love you my baby. I need all #prayers for my son! thank you everybody.”

Usher Raymond’s 11-year old stepson Kyle Glover was struck in the head by a jetski on Saturday and is now considered brain dead by doctors reports TMZ. Usher chartered a plane for his ex-wife Tameka Foster to be with her son. She was out of town at the time of the accident on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Georgia.

Glover was riding on an inner tube when he was struck in the head by someone he knew riding a jetski. Glover was on a family outing on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Georgia. Usher is now with Tameka and she will have to make the decision take her son off of life support.
