Filmmaker Terry Perry has worked with most of the actors and actresses that he admired growing up except for Diana Ross. According to Black America Web, Perry expressed during a brief conversation with Ross years ago that he’d like to produce a film with her and she said “no”. He has not giving up yet, he is still calling Ross and she is simply ignoring him.

However, all is not lost, he is working with Marla Gibbs (Florence) from the Jeffersons and John Amos (James Evans) from Good Times television series. His childhood idols Gibbs and Amos are in his latest movie.

“To be around Florence from the Jefferson and James from Good Times … to stand in the presence of people I have admired is amazing” said Perry.
