Sources claim singer Rihanna’s party-loving lifestyle has been spiraling out of control for months and her record label, including label owner Jay-Z, is threatening to take action if she doesn’t “straighten” herself out.

Friends say, Rihanna (real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty), 24, has been partying excessively and they are urging her to check into rehab.

The claims about Rihanna’s well-being come as she was photographed Monday afternoon stepping out in New York looking tired and disheveled in possibly her most revealing outfit yet.

While Rihanna frequently posts pictures and updates about her busy schedule and nights-out on Twitter, photographers snapped pictures of her wearing a tiny pink lace bandeau bra with a pleated skirt as she headed out and about in Manhattan.

According to reports, her behavior has become more erratic, including a visit to a strip club, a recent hospitalization, and the admission that she missed a flight after partying the night away.

“Rihanna has been out of control for months. She was supposed to catch a flight back to the UK last week, but she ended up missing it, which was the final straw for management. Jay-Z hit the roof when he found out, and told Rihanna, ‘Go to rehab now or I’ll drop you from the label.’ She’s not happy, but she now feels she has no choice,” an insider told reporters.

However, Rihanna insists she canceled the UK trip to spend more time with her family, particularly her grandmother Dolly who is suffering from cancer.

Meanwhile, other reports suggest that Rihanna is suffering from a personality disorder.

Rihanna is said to be at the end of her physical and mental strength because of her intense schedule and troubled personal life.

“She’s reached breaking point. Ri says she’s physically and mentally exhausted and feeling lost. I think she desperately needs help and some time off – not just from work but from all the other stresses in her life too,” a source added.

Rihanna first sparked concerns about her health in May when she was hospitalized for exhaustion and dehydration. She tweeted a picture from inside the hospital, showing her hooked up to an intravenous drip, yet 2 weeks later she was seen out partying again.

Further complicating Rihanna’s image are rumors that she and ex-boyfriend/R&B singer Chris Brown have been “hanging out” together.

The New York Post reported that on Saturday night Rihanna and Chris Brown partied at the same club.

“They partied in separate booths but kept a close eye on each other,” the Post reported. “He sent over two bottles of Ace of Spades Champagne.”

Meanwhile, sources say Rihanna’s management is deeply divided on how to deal with the “Chris Brown issue.” One source said, “Everyone in the business assumes she and Chris are getting back together, and it is only a matter of time before they’ll be more public about it.”

“It’s like she is testing the water — first they work on music together, then they hang out in a friendly way, so the public won’t be completely shocked when they step out together publicly.”

The source added, “There is also a tug of war at Roc Nation (record label) over the final say on what she is doing. But everyone agrees they can’t control Rihanna and can’t stop her from seeing Chris, no matter how much they fear the negative public reaction will be.”
