The month of May has been quite busy with celebrity birthday parties, and this week is no different as KISS – FM wishes a Happy Birthday to former “A-Team” star Mr. T, who was 60 years old on Monday, May 21st.  Also on Monday, rapper Notorious B.I.G. would have been 40 years old.

On Tuesday, May 22nd, superstar model Naomi Campbell turned 41.   Former Boxing champion “Marvelous” Marvin Hagler celebrated  his 59th birthday on Wednesday, May 23rd.   Grammy Award winning vocalist Patti LaBelle was 67 on  Thursday, May 24th, and sharing that date is ex-NBA star turned executive Joe Dumars, his 48th.

On Friday, May 25th, singer Lauryn Hill celebrated her 36th birthday, and Leslie Uggams, one of the first African-American women to host her own network TV variety show, turns 68 years old.   Leslie was also a great singer in her own rite.

Speaking of great singers and entertainers, Lenny Kravitz was 47 on  Saturday, May 26th.   Actor Philip Michael-Thomas, former “Miami Vice” co-star, turned 62 years old today.   Today, Sunday, May 27th, veteran jazz pianist Ramsey Lewis celebrates his 76th birthday, while veteran actor Louis Gossett, Jr. is 75, and former “Diffrent Strokes” child star Todd Bridges hits 46 today.

Among our dearly departed who would have been celebrating birthdays this week are the legendary Miles Davis, actor John Wayne, and former TLC member Lisa “Left-Eye” Lopes.
