E! Network has extended “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”, starring Kim Kardashian, for 3 more years as well as extended its talent and development deals with the entire family.
Reportedly, the combined earnings of the family for the 3-year extension is $40 million dollars, which DOES NOT include the merchandising money the sisters earn from cosmetics, shoes, lingerie, linen, jeans and more.
The agreement covers everyone: Kim, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian Odom, Rob Kardashian, Bruce Jenner, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. The deal also extends the E! network’s first look rights on all of the family’s non-scripted ideas, concepts and projects.
“Keeping Up With the Kardashians” has been a growing success for E! since it premiered in 2007 to 898,000 viewers nationwide. Fast-forward 6 seasons and last season’s September finale attracted 3.3 million viewers. It has also spawned several highly watched spinoffs, including “Kourtney & Kim Take New York”, “Khloe & Lamar” and “Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami”.
All of the Kardashian shows are produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions.
The 7th season of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” premieres next month.
