Last month club promoter Omar ‘Slimm’ White, 27, released a statement confirming his breakup with actress Vivica Fox. Until his statements, Vivica had not said much about the broken engagement. But, while on Access Hollywood, Vivica revealed it was she who decided to end the engagement because things were not working out.
“Sometimes in relationships there are warning signs,” said Fox. “And I think that once you get older, I’ve been married before, that if there are warning signs you should pay attention to them before you get families involved, all the hoopla and things like that. If things aren’t working out, it’s okay to move on.”
When Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush asked 47-year-old Vivica Fox what type of men she likes, Viv admitted to falling for the pretty boys, but she’s looking to switch it up.
To add an extra dig to Omar, Vivica said, “I don’t know. I told myself I’m going to try something different next time ‘cause I happen to fall in love with a six pack and a smile and look what that’s gotten me.”
We thought that would be the last word about their failed relationship. WRONG!
Former fiancé Omar ‘Slimm’ White didn’t take Vivica’s little comment lying down. Slimm released an open letter to clear things up…again:
“I totally understand that a person would rather save face and avoid admitting their fiancé ended the relationship. So I understood why Vivica didn’t admit the reality of what really took place…. She would have come out better if she stated we went our separate ways if she wanted to avoid the “true” nature of the breakup. The main thing is don’t lie… she and I know what happened so just be cordial and keep it moving. She knew from day one when I first met her I would joke and say “hey baby don’t hit me with that 2 can play that game” lol those methods destroy relationships. I hate games and negativity
Furthermore if I was using her for fame then why wouldn’t I play the game, put my pride aside and follow through on tying the knot? The reason being I’m not that type of man and I refuse to sell myself short for Fame.”
Guess there won’t be a reconciliation after this.
