Comedic actress Betty White will be honored for her career that spans over 70 years, as she takes the “hot seat” this spring for the Friars Club’s annual roast.

On May 16th, White will become part of the star-studded A-list group that has been honored with a comedic twist by the Friars Club, including Lucille Ball, Johnny Carson, Barbra Streisand, Billy Crystal, and Quentin Tarantino.

White was well known for her squeaky clean “Rose Nylund” on The Golden Girls. However, in recent years, White has become more lewd in her comedy roles.

“Those Friars may think I’m an easy mark but I have 90 years of comebacks waiting for them,” White said. “This is such an honor to be roasted by the Friars Club. It will be an afternoon filled with dirty words, risqué jokes & sex talk…..and that’s just what I plan on saying. I have no clue what the comedians will talk about.”
