NBA Star Lamar Odom missed Wednesday nights Lakers-Mavericks game to tend to his father, who is battling an illness.
Lamar and wife Khloé Kardashian Odom flew into Los Angeles earlier in the week to be with his father, Joe Odom, who resides in LA.
Although specific details have not been released, “Lamar’s dad had a health scare. It’s very serious,” reports E! News.
Odom’s father reportedly told RadarOnline, “I’m doing a lot better. But I’m depressed right now. I’m getting some rest.”
Coach Rick Carlisle announced last night that the Dallas Mavs player “will rejoin us after the [All-Star] break,” which is sometime next week.
