Rapper DMX is being accused by ex-girlfriend Patricia Trejo of owing over 1 million dollars in child support, reports TMZ.
Trejo he says she gave birth to the rapper’s daughter over ten years ago and the money he owes in child support has added up to over one million dollars. The legal battle could prevent X from performing in Europe.
X and Trejo were in L.A. Superior Court Thursday morning. X is seeking special permission from the court to perform in Europe.
In paternity cases where significant back pay is due, the owing parent is prohibited from leaving the country unless they obtain a court order.
Reportedly, X doesn’t believe he’s the father, and he’s willing to take a paternity test to prove it.
