The body of singer Whitney Elizabeth Houston was flown to her hometown of Newark, New Jersey. The body was escorted by Dionne Warwick while Cissy Houston awaited the arrival of her daughter at the funeral home.
Whitney Houston was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hills Hilton on Saturday afternoon. Beverly Hills Police Department has launched an investigation, the coroner’s office has not the determined a cause of death. The office is waiting on the toxicology report which should be complete in just under 6 weeks.
Houston’s funeral is planned for Friday inside the 18,000 seat Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. No other plans have been made to the public.
