The New York Giants went west on a mission, and with the NFC Championship Trophy secured and a berth in Super Bowl XLVI, fans of the G-Men celebrate a mission clearly accomplished. Lawrence Tynes kicked the Giants into a Super rematch with the New England Patriots on Feb 5th at Indianapolis with a 31-yard FG in OT. The Giants & Patriots met in Super Bowl XLII four years ago with New York defeating the previously unbeaten Brady Bunch, and they met earlier this season with the same result.
