This year’s BET Honors is going to be a night to remember.
Singer Mariah Carey, Poet/Author Dr. Maya Angelou and Singer/Musician Stevie Wonder, among others will be recognized and newly engaged diva and R&B Legend Aretha Franklin, Singer Patti LaBelle and Rapper Common are confirmed to take the stage.
Others expected to make an appearance include Actors Cuba Gooding Jr. and Terrence Howard, along with iconic Actress Cicely Tyson.
BET has also announced that the proceeds from ticket sales will go to Metro TeenAIDS.
The event will be hosted by Gabrielle Union and is scheduled to take place on Jan. 14 at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C.
The show airs Monday, February 13 at 9pm on BET.
