Casey Anthony’s back in the spotlight.
A video of the 25-year-old donning glasses and a new, short blonde bob has surfaced on the internet. In the clip, Anthony speaks out for the first time since the July acquittal of murdering her daughter Caylee.
“It’s just a little surreal how much things have changed since July and how many things haven’t changed,” she says. “But the good thing is that things are starting to look up and things are starting to change in a good way.”
Anthony, whose probation for check fraud ends next month, says the video diary gives her “someone to talk to” so she’s not “bothering the poor dog.” (“You guys, I’ve adopted,” she says. “And he’s as much my dog as any of the other pets I’ve ever had.”)
“I just hope that things stay good and that they only get better,” she says.
