You just can’t replace a legendary soap opera couple.
Darnell Williams will reunite with his longtime All My Children co-star Debbi Morgan in his new role on CBS’ The Young and the Restless, Soap Opera Digest reports.
The two actors famously played the roles of the enchanting Romeo and Juliet like couple Angie and Jessie on and off since 1982. Jesse even returned from the dead after 20 years in 2008.
In fact, the two actors are so close that Darnell actually gave Debbi away when she got married in June 2010.
Darnell and Debbi have both won Emmys for their roles, making Debbi the only African-American actress to ever snag the daytime acting honor.
Aside from All My Children, which was cancelled by ABC in September, the two have co-starred in Loving and its spin-off, The City.
