It looks like Oprah Winfrey doesn’t OWN her best pal Gayle King!

On Tuesday, OWN confirmed that King, 56, was leaving her role as host of The Gayle King Show. The same day, CBS announced that Winfrey’s lifelong pal would be joining Charlie Rose on CBS’ Early Show this January.

“We are so happy for Gayle’s opportunity of a lifetime,” OWN presidents Sheri Salata and Erik Logan said in a statement reports Reuters. “She’ll be a fantastic host for the new morning show on CBS and we wish her all the best. Although her show will not continue on OWN, we look forward to her joining us from time-to-time as her schedule allows.”

So what can fans expect from King and Rose, 69? “What you’re going to see in the morning is a program that’s very different; that doesn’t try to copy what’s already out there; and will be a fulfilling experience for our viewers,” Jeff Fager, the chairman of CBS News, said in a statement excerpted by the New York Times.

Rose will lead the 7 a.m. hour, while King will lead the 8 a.m. hour of the show.
