Despite growing frustration among their ranks, Derek Fisher, President of the NBA Players Union, and his constituents voted again to reject the latest proposal from the league’s owners, and  filed an anti-trust lawsuit against the NBA.   Commissioner David Stern has meanwhile cancelled more games but remains hopeful a deal can still be worked out.   Suffice it to say there may not be any pro hoops this year, and in the meantime, the beer man, the concession workers, the popcorn guy and the ticket takers all remain out of work as these millionaires squabble over money.  Incredible.  While the majority of the players stand by Fisher and the union, several players, who don’t earn LaBron and Kobe type salaries, aren’t very pleased with how this is going.  In fact, Kobe Bryant has said he wishes they would have taken the deal, because he doesn’t want to see the entire season scrapped.  At this point, that is the reality because who knows when the courts will  get to the case.
