Metta World Peace (formerly known as Ron Artest) is expanding his career skills to include comedy. And, according to TMZ, the NBA star is taking his aspiration to become a comedian very seriously, even enrolling in a stand-up boot camp.
A few months ago, Mr. Peace made his comedy debut. Reportedly he is dedicated to getting better, joining L.A.’s Laff Mobb comedy group, which claims it has worked with famous comedians like Bernie Mac, Chris Tucker and Dave Chappelle.
MWP will definitely need the practice because he has a huge show scheduled for October 28 at the Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas.
