Times have been tough for OWN. So one way to jump-start the meager ratings the network has gotten in its first year is to offer its wares on other outlets; hence, the premieres of The Rosie Show and Oprah’s Lifeclass will be simulcast across five networks on Monday.

The Rosie Show (7pm), and Lifeclass (8pm) will be shown on TLC, Investigation Discovery, Discovery Fit & Health and Planet Green besides OWN, the network announced Thursday.

“With Rosie and Oprah debuting daily on OWN, we couldn’t be more proud to offer our other Discovery properties to drive awareness and build audiences for these fantastic new shows,” said David Zaslav, president of Discovery Communications.

The Rosie Show is being touted as a blend of comedy, celebrity interviews, music and games with a behind-the-scenes element. Russell Brand will be O’Donnell’s first guest.

In Lifeclass, Winfrey will share life lessons, with examples taken from her 1986-2011 daytime talk show. Her first episode, titled “Fat Wagon and the Power of Ego,” will focus on the famous 1988 episode of Oprah in which she wheeled a wagon filled with animal fat onto the set, to represent her cumulative weight loss. It was her highest-rated episode ever.

Both shows will air daily.
