Philly QB Michael Vick says the Eagles can no longer consider themselves a “Dream Team”. That speaks of the level of frustration being felt in Philadelphia after so much preseason hype filled with Super Bowl expectations. The Eagles are 1-3 and mired in the cellar of the tough NFC East, and they have only played one division opponent, a huge loss at home to the New York Giants. This isn’t the way they had it planned, to say the least. The Eagles spent millions on big name free agents to come in, get on the Mike Vick Express and ride that train to New Orleans. So far, it hasn’t been a pretty scene in the city of brotherly love, and the man who coined the “dream team” phrase for this team, back-up QB Vince Young, can’t even play. Like Lucy Ricardo, if Andy Reid doesn’t turn this around, he’s gonna have some ‘splainin’ to do in Philly.
