President Barack Obama brought together Jay-Z and several other prominent hip-hop artists together for his election three years ago. Now Jay-Z has announced he will be there once again – front and center.
In a recent interview, Shawn ‘Jay-Z’ Carter said, “It was very inspirational. And it made everyone feel like that whole American Dream, like, we were all a part of the American Dream finally. Like it was accessible to everyone… Now we have to get a female president and a Latino president and then we are on our way.”
“I still think he is the best man for the job, so yes (I will campaign for him). I think he got a raw deal and he got a really tough economy. It’s going to test his mettle, which is great. You don’t get anything that you can’t handle. So he must be really special because he got a lot of work to do.”
