On the same day the sports talk shows blasted Michael Vick for complaining about the harsh treatment he’s receiving from opposing defenders, the Philadelphia QB got some great news.  The non-throwing hand that was feared to be broken in Sunday’s loss to the New York Giants, apparently is not broken after all.  Doctors are calling it a severe bruise.  Vick obviously feels he’s not being treated with the same respect by officials as defenses have been teeing-off on him at every chance.   Eagles Coach Andy Reid said the team will monitor Vick’s progress as the hand heals but have not ruled him out of  the San Francisco game next weekend as of yet.  Considering Philly is now mired in the cellar of the NFC East, one would believe there is a sense of urgency with this team to get things turned around after so much pre-season hype and Super Bowl chatter.
