Following the successful formula used to turn Bethenny Frankel (“Real Housewives of New York”) into a star, Bravo plans to launch a new reality series next year based on one of the “RHOA”.
With its Atlanta-installment as one of the most popular of the “Housewives” franchise, it’s only natural that execs would pluck one of the Georgia peaches from the tree and give her a spin-off. But….it’s not who you think.
Although NeNe Leakes made a huge media splash last year as one of the stars of “Celebrity Apprentice”, and she hasn’t been shy about letting folks know she wants her own show, Bravo execs have chosen to give “Housewife” Kim Zolciak a shot a super-stardom with her own series.
A source close to the situation told the Huffington Post…
“Kim’s new show is going to follow the very successful Bethenny formula. A new mom and her fiancé trying to make everything work. Juggling baby, boyfriend and career. But instead of all those trips to a therapist that Bethenny made, expect Kim to work out her problems at the nail salon with friends.”
Let’s see if we understand… A show about a mom of 3 who dated a married man for a decade, and now has a live-in football-playing boyfriend who may or may not be her fiance’? Wonder how that’s gonna work out.
