Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will be with the team for at least another seven years after agreeing to a $100 million contract that guarantees him some $36 million up front.  AP is in the final year of his current deal, which will pay him some $10.7 million this season.  Peterson is already the Vikings second all-time leading rusher and has made the Pro Bowl in each of his last four seasons.  Meanwhile, in Pittsburgh, the Steelers agreed to a 4-year deal with All-Pro safety Troy Polamalu worth $36 million, $ 10 million guaranteed.  Polamalu is the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
