In an effort to help victims of Hurricane Irene, the City of Richmond is distributing Care Packages to the residents of the City who provide valid identification of residency and are in need following the disaster.  Supplies are limited; but are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

4100 Hull Street – Hot meals, care packages, water distribution & charging station for electrical equipment

Blackwell Elementary School

1600 Everett Street – Care packages, water distribution and charging station for electrical equipment

7300 Forest Hill Avenue – Care packages & water


Any resident who gets a phone call requesting their social security number or EBT numbers should not respond; those request are not coming from the Richmond Department of Social Services.  Humanitarian assistance to your fellow neighbor is encouraged.
