Emmy winner Andre Braugher could be back fighting the good fight on NBC.
The former Men of a Certain Age actor is in negotiations to play an attorney on Law & Order: SVU, Deadline reports.
The character would represent the underprivileged and could get close to Mariska Hargitay’s character, Det. Olivia Benson.
Braugher already has serious crime-drama cred. He won an Emmy for his leading role on NBC’s Homicide: Life on the Street and even guest-starred on the original Law & Order back in the day.
He was recently nominated for a Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Emmy for his role on TNT’s now-canceled Men of a Certain Age.
