People magazine unveiled its Kim Kardashian wedding issue Wednesday, but something is missing: a picture of Kardashian’s new husband, Kris Humphries, on the cover.
People reportedly paid $1.5 million for exclusive rights to photos of the Kardashian-Humphries nuptials.
But why would People crop out Kim’s New Jersey Nets forward husband?
The magazine’s assistant editor, Jen Garcia, seized the opportunity to defend the decision Wednesday, telling “Access Hollywood Live,” “We sorted through thousands of pictures. It’s all about the bride. We wanted her. It’s her day, we wanted her on the cover. He’s got a little height on her. It’s kind of tough to get them in the (same) shot.”
