The New York Post reports that during a book signing at the store BookHampton, former Celebrity Apprentice and The View favorite, Star Jones was served with court papers by her ex-husband, Al Reynolds.
Sources said that Reynolds had difficulty serving Jones the papers since he filed a lawsuit against her in May for allegedly breaking their 2008 divorce agreement, which says that they are not to make “disparaging remarks” about each other.
Reynolds is seeking $50,000 from his ex-wife after she allegedly broke the agreement when she appeared on The Wendy Williams Show in March and called their marriage “kind of booty.”
Sources also said that, at her book signing, Jones looked “noticeably upset” once confronted by the processor, who served her the papers and took a picture.
Jones has been traveling the country promoting her new book, Satan’s Sisters.
