Justin Timberlake says he will try to attend the Marine Corps ball with the Corporal who asked to be his date to the event.

“I saw that, I don’t feel backed into a corner at all,” Justin said, when asked about the YouTube invite from Corporal Kelsey De Santis, who is presently stationed at the Marine Corps base at Quantico.

Justin said, “I’ll tell you what, I accept, but not because she shouted out one of my songs, which I do love, when they do that, because I’m shameless and not because she had all those beefcake military guys behind her to try and intimidate me, although that probably would have worked by itself.”

AccessHollywood.com reported, the Corporal used a YouTube video to ask Justin to come to her ball on November 12th, one week before the one his “Friends with Benefits” co-star, Mila Kunis, was invited to by another Marine.

In the video clip and invite, the Corporal said, “So Justin, you wanna call out my girl Mila, well I’m gonna call you out and ask you to go to the Marine Corps Ball with me on November 12, in Washington D.C.”

Justin said he was flattered by the invite and would try to make the event.

“I don’t get asked out… ever. So I was very flattered by that. And I hear that she’s trained in martial arts so I’m hoping that we can tousle at some point. That last part was a joke,” he said. “But yeah, if my schedule works out to do it, I’d love to do it. It’s an honor.”
