Chinese Hoops Legend Yao Ming Retires From NBA

After two years of battling injuries and nine seasons in the NBA, Chinese basketball legend Yao Ming has decided to retire from pro hoops. Yao played in only five games this past season and his contract with the Rockets had expired. New Houston coach Kevin McHale says he’s sorry to see the big man retire. At 7-foot 6, Yao averaged 19 ppg during his NBA career.
