‘Sex and the City’ author Candace Bushnell thinks Selena Gomez would make a great young Charlotte York, made famous on the HBO show by Kristin Davis.
“I’m going to get into trouble for this, but I was looking at some pictures of Selena Gomez today and thinking ‘she’d make a really good young Charlotte,'” Bushnell said.
The author has just released her second “SATC” prequel, “Summer and the City,” which will be brought to life either on the “big or small screen,” she promises.
Although she’s a fan of Gomez as Charlotte, Bushnell wouldn’t comment on the rumors that Blake Lively would portray a young Carrie Bradshaw, made famous by Sarah Jessica Parker on the HBO show for six seasons.
Kristin Davis portrayed the conservative, hopeless romantic Charlotte on the show and in the two feature films.
