When Crystal Harris, 25, stepped into a California jewelry store to have the three-carat ring appraised, the store’s owner questioned her about the cut and clarity of the diamond – she had no clue and called the Playboy Mansion…on speakerphone.
The person on the other line offered to fax over documentation at a later time, so Harris left.
According to a store employee, when the store’s owner told Harris he was sorry about the wedding being called off, she replied, “Are you kidding? It was all for publicity.”
