The University of Connecticut defeated Butler 53-41 to win the NCAA men’s basketball championship in Houston. In what had to be one of the least explosive title games in many years, the Huskies made enough plays and got strong leadership from it’s star player Kemba Walker, who had 16 points and was voted MVP. It wasn’t pretty, and it wasn’t easy, but UConn will take the win……and the trophy! Another great run for Butler, but shooting 18% from the floor won’t win any game. Watching this game only made me feel that VCU may have let a title slip away………
