You could call it “Never-Land”, because I never dreamed of V C U in the Final Four. Yet, here they are on the doorstep of a dream that all young ballplayers flirt with at some point in their youth. Congratulations to Coach Shaka Smart and this resilient group of student-athletes that have taken a team all the “experts” said had no place in this tournament, to the Elite 8, and stand 40 minutes from the Final Four. WOW! V C U will play the Kansas Jayhawks on Sunday in San Antonio, Texas for the NCAA Southwest Region title. Enough said. GO RAMS!
