After watching the New York Knicks tank it in the 4th quarter of a loss to the Boston Celtics last night, I couldn’t help but wonder if the Knicks actually gained anything in the big Carmelo Anthony trade. Since Melo took his talents to the Big Apple, the Knicks are 7 – 9. Meanwhile, his former team in Denver, not exactly missing him, the Nuggets are rolling along at 10 – 4 in Melo’s absence. Rumors of discontent between Anthony and Head Coach Mike D’Antoni, who’s system doesn’t quite fit the way Melo likes to play. New York loves a good drama, don’t they?
