Watching the VCU Rams run through the NCAA Tournament made me think about my friend and mentor Terry Sissisky, who was the voice of the Rams radio broadcast for nearly two decades. Terry was a pro in every sense, and his passion unmatched. I won 3 CIAA Sportscaster of the Year Awards while doing sports at my alma mater, V-State. It was Terry who taught me the craft, and I’m still at it. Terry Sissisky passed away last year, and as a friend, I can tell you, the T-Man is smiling on the Rams for sure. Terry was also recently honored at Petersburg High School for his many years of dedicated service to the Crimson Wave.
