Just wondering how this NFL lockout plays with the average fan who is struggling to keep the lights on. The minimum salary per year in the NFL is far greater than most Americans make in a lifetime. The fans spend billions in jerseys, caps, and team accessories, all of which contributes to the lavish lifestyles, and while they’re losing or have lost their jobs, the nation’s economy is sputtering, two wars, gas prices booming, here’s a bunch of millionaires fighting over the billions they spend. DeMaurice Smith has a tough job. Love the players, and love the game, and I’m all for building as much wealth as you can, just asking, is this a good look for the NFL players at this time in America?
