          As the Indianapolis Colts season ended a couple of weeks ago against the New York Jets, so did that $100 million contract between the Colts and QB Peyton Manning.  Scary thought for the Colts, who must now “pony-up” a raise in salary for the future Hall Of Famer, no pun intended.  Manning, who once was the highest paid player in the NFL when he signed that deal in 2004, may be again once the new deal is done.  Peyton’s dad, Archie, former NFL QB himself, has to be proud to have two sons follow in his footsteps and both are raking in $20 million per year.  Since Peyton’s deal with Indy in ’06, only Tom Brady, Ben Rothlisberger, Carson Palmer, and Michael Vick have signed bigger contracts
