University of Pittsburgh football coach Mike Haywood was fired over the weekend.
Pitt Coach Sacked After Arrest
The University of Pittsburgh touted the character of new head football coach Mike Haywood a few weeks ago during the presser to announce his hiring, but the school wasted no time in showing Haywood the door after he was arrested following a domestic violence dispute at his home. Haywood’s 3 weeks may be the shortest tenure ever for a major program and most college football analysts agree that Haywood was one of the best up and coming coaches in the nation.
