Jukeboxes were most popular from the 1940s through the mid-1960s, particularly during the 1950s. Who doesn’t remember the iconic “Happy Days” character, “The Fonz,” banging on the jukebox at Al’s Diner? I bet you didn’t know… The 1st jukebox was located in San Francisco in 1899.
