Strengthening Families with a Purpose
Strengthening Families with a Purpose exists to build resilient, connected, and spiritually
grounded families where faith is lived, relationships are nurtured, and communities are
transformed. Through intentional discipleship, we walk alongside parents, caregivers, and
children—offering practical tools, encouragement, and spiritual support that strengthen family
life and deepen their walk with God.
“With a Purpose” affirms that families are created by God with intention, identity, and
calling. Our work is not transactional—it is sacred. We approach families as partners, honoring
their dignity and building trust through consistent, caring relationships over time.
We serve with clarity and conviction—listening before leading and walking alongside
families as growth and healing unfold. Through this work, families are reminded that they are not
defined by their circumstances, but by God’s design. With intentional love and discipleship,
families are supported to grow, heal, and thrive—impacting generations to come.
Our Approach
* Equip – We equip families with practical and spiritual tools that build confidence, deepen faith,
and support everyday life.
* Engage – We engage families through meaningful relationships rooted in presence and
discipleship.
* Empower – We empower families by affirming their strengths and walking with them into their
God-given future.
Program Overview
The program includes six structured visits designed to cultivate spiritual practices within the

Frequently Asked Questions:
Who is CHVI for?
CHVI is for all families—whether you’re a member of The Creek, new to the community, or simply looking for support in your faith journey at home. It’s designed for parents and caregivers who want to guide their children in faith but may not know where to start.
Do I have to be a Bible expert to participate?
Absolutely not! CHVI is not a Bible study—it’s about being present. The ministry uses a curriculum-based manual as a guide for teaching the spiritual disciplines. Our role is to walk with you, offer encouragement, and grow together in Christ.
Does CHVI have to take place in a home?
No, it doesn’t! While the home is a meaningful and natural setting, CHVI visits can happen in any agreed-upon location that is safe, welcoming, and appropriate for children—such as a library room, church meeting space, or community center. Also, the visit can occur via an online platform such as zoom or google meeting. The goal is to create a space where families feel comfortable and spiritually supported.
What ages does CHVI serve?
CHVI is designed for families with children and youth between the ages of 5 and 17. Each visit includes age-appropriate activities and spiritual practices to help children and teens grow in faith beside their caregivers.
