Beware of the wallet/purse snatcher!
A northern Virginia woman is facing multiple charges in Colonial Heights for swiping credit cards from purses. Colonial Police say people dining at area restaurants noticed their wallets were missing. A number of thefts over two years led police to 58-year-old Jeannie Marie Bertini, who collected more than eight-thousand dollars on the stolen credit cards. Bertini bought household items and electronics at target, Best Buy and Home Depot. She’s free on five-thousand dollars bond.
