Virginia Governor Ralph Northam announced on Monday that the city Hopewell Public Schools will receive over a million-dollar grant for year-round school.

The Metropolitan Junior Baseball League is spearheading an effort to help with hurricane relief in The Bahamas. Feel free to support this Saturday from 10am to 2pm at the Diamond.

Hopewell city officials sent out a notice in a social media post around seven last night that the water was not safe to drink or use because it was discolored. According to city officials, the water is now safe to drink and use again.
