At least three people were injured when a car slammed into a Richmond gas station Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened just before 1 p.m. in the 6200 block of Jahnke Road. Police said a car left the roadway and hit the front of a service station building, shattering the glass facade.

It is unclear if anyone in the building is among the injured. At least two people were carried away in stretchers.

There is no word what caused the crash. Stay with 8News for updates.
