West Nile Scare In Virginia Beach

Officials in VA Beach say they will be stepping up mosquito control due to some mosquito pool samples that tested positive for West Nile Virus. The Department of Public health issued a statement warning residents to wear long, loose, and light colored clothing. There as only been four cases of West Nile infections in human beings since 2003, but even with the slim statistics the city of VA, Beach isn’t taking any chances.
