Extreme heat conditions are here this weekend with 100 degree temperatures. There is a heat advisory in effect from 12pm-7pm today, which will make the outside temperatures feel up to 105 degrees.
Here are a few suggestions to stay cool in the heat:
- Drink Plenty of water and other liquids to keep your body hydrated
- Wear light weight, lose fit clothing
- Wear caps and hats
- Take frequent breaks and just simply stay cool

The cooling Shelters in Richmond are open from 8am-5-pm. Bottled water will be provided. No pets allowed with the exception of service animals

The Cooling Station is open from 12pm – 7pm. Bottled water will be provided.
