The drought conditions are still holding which means the water levels at the Appomatox River are low. The Appomatox River Water Authority has requested emergency water restrictions for Chesterfield County and the tri-cities. The Chesterfield County Department of Public Utilities is asking its residents to help conserve water and it greatly appreciates the cooperative efforts of its residents to conserve water.
