Federal Reserve Raises Interest Rates 0.75%

In an effort to fight a recession, the Federal Reserve has raised interest rates by 0.75 percentage point for second consecutive time. The latest hike is the Feds second consecutive 0.75 percentage point interest rate increase, moving its benchmark rate to a range of 2.25%-2.5%.
