The Jussie Smollett drama continues. With the city of Chicago preparing to file a $130,000 civil suit against Smollett for the cost of investigating his alleged assault incident, Jussie’s attorney Mark Geragos is about to get litigious himself.
Geragos might file a defamation suit against the city. He sent a letter to Chicago officials saying his client “will not be intimidated” and that the city’s claim that Smollett’s attack was “fake” is “false and defamatory.”
Geragos says the city never does this to other people so why is Smollett being targeted? Will you love the day when this whole thing is over? Will Smollett’s career fully recover from all of this?
